Description

Cuba Libre is an all time classic which goes down well with almost everybody. It consists of white rum, Coke and a lime wedge, a sweet and faintly sour drink. That highballs cocktail got its name due to celebrating the liberation of Cuba from Spanish colonial rule with that drink in the 19th century. Today, they still produce and consume a lot of rum in Latin America, but Cuba Libre isn't just over there in demand, people all around the world love it.

Coke is a popular modifier for mixed drinks. Lime perfects the taste and serves at the same time as a nice decoration.

Cuba Libre you prepare with white rum. The result is finer and differs quite a lot from mixtures with brown rum like rum and coke.

Preparation of Cuba Libre is simple and fast, a good choice for all kind of celebrationes, parties and nice get-togethers.

Different Cuba Libre decorations

Cuba Libre in tumbler and long-drink glasses.

Tumbler (or old fashion glasses) are most appropiate for Cuba Libre. Small-sized longdrink glasses are a good alternative. Straws and stirring sticks fit well with Cuba Libre, but are rather uncommon.

A good presentation and an adequate environment are as important as the taste of cocktails. Use our decoration tool to test different decorations and glasses.
